Apartments in Asia are often poorly sealed, which allows smog to seep in unimpeded. The OxyBox allows high airflow to help purify the air faster than it seeps into the home, pushing through over 350m³ of clean air every hour.

Snowline filters have been used as they have been specfically designed for the Chinese urban environment. They are 100% made in Switzerland using the highest quality microglass media, providing a high rate of purification while allowing huge amounts of air to pass through.

Microglass is the only choice of material for the removal of PM2.5 with Origins. The HEPA filter has high particulate arrestance, meaning it lets vast amounts of air through whilst still capturing incredibly small particles. This means clean air faster, and with less noise. To ensure you get the best quality, all filters are tested and certified down to 10 nanometres in size, so that we’re sure nothing is left in the air.

If a filter is too “efficient”, it will take hours on end for a room to become clean. This stems from a sweet spot found between filter efficiency (how many particles are trapped each time the air passes through) and air flow, which is why the Snowline filters trap 90% of particles compared to others that promise 99.9%.

At 90% efficiency, the air flow is high enough to clean a room full of smog, cigarette smoke or burnt food in about 30 minutes. To deal with high volumes of pollution found in urban cities today, finding the right ratio of filter efficiency to air flow is key.
